DonalFarms takes its environmental responsibilities seriously. It is our policy to continually improve our farming systems and working standards to meet our environmental, legal and social responsibilities. We have therefore participated in numerous schemes and initiatives.
Other Commitments
Plan the farms crop rotation and variety choice to minimise use of fertilisers,
pesticides, herbicides and fungicides.
Umbilical slurry injection cuts our fertiliser down tenfold.
Maintain and enhance the structure of our soil through sustainable crop
rotations and well managed operations.
Thoroughly research the source of our products, buying from nurseries and
manufacturers who adhere to high quality and environmental standards.
Continually make sure our products come from sustainable sources, such as FSC
certified woods and Fairtrade coffee in our cafes.
Recommend alternatives to chemical options where possible.
Today, Queens Factory stands as more than just a manufacturing facility; it is a family-friendly workplace that provides employment opportunities for over 100 local villagers. The workforce is predominantly composed of young women and middle-aged housewives, many of whom have found a sense of purpose and independence through their roles at the factory.

This name not only reflects our mission but also serves as a symbol of strength and resilience for the women we aim to uplift.
